I love how you draw the She-Hulks.

Thank you so very much 🙂

Birds of a Feather

On a fine summer day in Central Park, Jennifer Walters (still in She-Hulk form after helping apprehend a local super-villain) is trying to enjoy the delicious sandwich she just picked up from a nearby deli.

The full-time park denizens think that sandwich looks quite delicious as well!

Betty Ross (Red She-Hulk) thinks the whole darn scene is delicious, and (as usual) has to capture it for posterity.

Harley Quinn Animated Series First Look!

@mutantlexi

I’m not sure how I feel. Ivy’s voice just isn’t working for me, but I love that Diedrich Bader is back as Batman.

So, here’s the thing: you arent allowed to violate my bodily autonomy even to save another person’s life.

Like, a born, fully grown, autonomous, conscious, no doubt about it human person doesnt get to use my body, my blood, my organs without my express consent, even in a life or death situation.

And I don’t understand why you’re willing to grant that right to a 1 hour old fetus. Or why you’re willing to take away any person’s right to have medical control over their own body because you dislike their sexual history.

You cannot hook me up as a live dialysis machine, not for anyone.

You cannot require me to donate blood to save the President.

You cannot harvest my organs after my death to save the lives of several people.

Without my permission, you cannot use any part of me for another person.

This is bodily autonomy. It extends to corpses.

Why are pregnant people exempt?

Because your blood and organs and tissue, etc, are not synonymous with a unique human life?

But another unique human life depends on being given access to them. And still, bodily autonomy and medical consent exist.

Not gonna keep repeating myself so here.

You couldn’t copy/paste that even? Here, I’ll help:

144-13:

Not sure what’s the purpose of you bringing up bodily autonomy. Of course no doctor can use anyone’s body without their consent, that’s not even just on the topic of abortion either. But the post I responded to specifically states abortion is not murder when, according to science and basic logic, it is. Science says the moment an egg is fertilised it becomes a unique human with its own DNA and so, contrary to popular belief, the foetus is not just another part of the mother other than needing nutrients from her. Since that’s true and abortion involves the ending of said unique human life, it’s the same as murder. It’s not a question of one life over another. The mother and foetus are both human people. The question is more on why people aren’t thinking before doing the only activity that creates a child and about taking responsibility instead of putting your actions and decisions on an unborn child.

Except your lungs and heart are needed to keep you alive. Sex isn’t. You can cut sex out of your life and keep living, just FYI. Then there would certainly be no child. For so many people claiming they don’t want to give up their bodily autonomy, you sure do love to do the very thing that would compromise that.

You aren’t responding to the points I’m actually making. A fetus doesn’t live off of sex or live off of abstinence, or whatever. A fetus lives off the internal organs and nutrients of the pregnant person.  And N OONE has the right to use another person’s organs against their will.  Not a fetus. Not a child. Not an adult. No one.

And sex DOESN’T compromise bodily autonomy. That’s the thing. We retain the right to make medical decicions for ourselves, no matter how many banging orgasms we have on the regular.

And since I AM ok with repeating myself:

And we dont deny people medical autonomy because of their sexual history. But since you WANT to go that route- what if someone became pregnant through rape? What is your opinion of that situation?

Hey, @144-13 No reply?

Almost like they’re more worried about punishing women for having sex than actual morality

Asking people to have self-control isn’t punishment.

Are you going to respond to my reblog or not?

I’ve noticed the vast majority of pro-life people tend to be unable to actually go fact-for-fact, but generally just barf out canned slogans.

If this doesn’t scare you, nothing will

Get your ass out there and VOTE.

Get your ass out there and FIGHT FOR PEOPLE’S RIGHTS TO VOTE

Those of us in countries where we no longer have to fight for the right to this are so fucking lucky, we should excerise it at every chance we get. Why do you think that voters rights are stifled so often? They know how powerful it is, how dangerous an informed voter is.

You may feel like it’s a drop in the ocean, but the ocean is a multitude of drops.

And before anyone starts yelling about how this is just calling all old people bad, that’s not what this ad is about.

Older people are more committed to voting, regardless of who they vote for. It just so happens that the majority of older people vote Republican. If you want to help out the fantastic elders who are also fed up with the current administration, you need to get off your butts and vote with them.

countries where prostitution is legal have higher rates of human trafficking. that’s like an actual fact. not an opinion or anything. so tbh it seems a bit ‘swerfy’ to completely ignore that

speaking, uh, as a formerly-trafficked sex worker, it’s extremely difficult to come forward as a trafficking victim in countries where sex work is criminalized; you just
get criminalized under those same anti-prostitution laws. of course reported trafficking would increase when the sole fact of coming forward as a sex worker at all no longer endangers you.

This line of argument is the same one that you see with conservatives who point to the increase in divorce rates as proof that making divorce safer is endangering marriage, while ignoring the massive drops in domestic abuse, murder, and suicide.

It’s a shot argument with them, and it’s a shot argument here.

In WWI, when they introduced helmets, they saw a sudden spike in head injuries.

What the casual observer may miss was that they were seeing the increase because of a dramatic decrease in deaths from head wounds.

It’s also like the recent “increases” in things like diabetes, autism and even intersex. The testing has gotten better, not that stuff is suddenly “causing it” (ex; vaccines, sugar, etc).
